Beltline Homes for Sale Calgary

The Beltline is named after an early 20th-century streetcar route and is a region of the Calgary Inner City, Alberta, Canada. The area is located immediately to the south of Calgary's Downtown, to the South of 9th Avenue and the CPR tracks. The Beltline is considered by many as being part of the Downtown. The neighbourhood borders to the South by 17th Avenue and on the West by 14th Street West, and to it's East by the Elbow River. The Beltline is one of Calgary's most densely populated neighborhoods and possibly the most urban. It consists of a huge amount of apartments, condominiums and offices. For the fun lovers it has the reputation of being one of Calgary's great areas for night-life and trendy restaurants. History Note: The first established district in the neighbourhood was Connaught in 1905, followed by Victoria Park in 1914. When the region and its redevelopment plan were formally established in 2003, it amalgamated the inner city neighbourhoods of Victoria Park and Connaught. In April 2018, there were 24,887 people residing in the Beltline area of Calgary.
