Okotoks is a town in the Province of Alberta, Canada. Situated on the Sheep River, approximately 18 km south of the City. The town is a member of the Calgary Regional Partnership, a co-op of municipalities within the Calgary Region.
Okotoks has emerged as a growing community and in the 2016 Census, the town had a population of 28,881, which makes it the largest town in Alberta. Okotoks is steeped in First Nations history.
